Description
A little more than medium bodied with smoky raspberry and blood-plum fruit. Grainy and textured through the middle with the kind of fine, supple tannins you so often get with old vines. Plenty of whole berries in the ferment for freshness, and we have kept the oak volume turned down pretty low so as not to mask the integrity of the old vine fruit. Long and languid with an effortless structure that will see the wine age beautifully over the coming 8-10 years.
